Terms of Use

These terms apply to the Schengen Calculator app for iOS and Android and this website (together, the "Service"), made by Reku ("we", "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. What the Service does

Schengen Calculator estimates how many days you have spent in the Schengen Area under the 90/180-day rule for short stays. It counts entry and exit days as full days and uses a rolling 180-day window.

2. Not legal or immigration advice

• Border and immigration officials make the final decision on entry and length of stay.
• The 90/180 rule applies to short stays only. Long-stay visas, residence permits, bilateral agreements and other special situations can change what applies to you, and the Service does not account for them.
• Rules can change. We try to keep the Service up to date but can't guarantee it reflects every change.
• Results depend on the dates you enter. You're responsible for entering your trips correctly and completely.

If your situation is unusual or the stakes are high, check with the relevant embassy, consulate or an immigration professional before you travel.

3. Who can use the Service

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. You're responsible for keeping your device secure and for using the Service in line with these terms and the law.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for anything illegal.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service.
• Use bots or automated scripts to access the Service.
• Copy, reverse-engineer or tamper with the app or website, except where the law allows it.

5. Schengen Pro subscriptions

5.1 Billing

Some features need Schengen Pro. Depending on what the app offers in your store, Pro is available as a subscription (for example monthly or yearly) or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Payments are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, and their terms also apply. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.

5.2 Renewal and cancellation

A lifetime purchase is paid once and never renews. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can cancel any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings. You keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for.

5.3 Free trials

If a plan includes a free trial, it turns into a paid subscription when the trial ends unless you cancel before then.

5.4 Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their refund policies. We can't issue refunds directly.

6. Intellectual property

The app, website, design, text and code belong to us or our licensors. You may not reproduce or redistribute them without our written permission. Your trip data is yours.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no guarantees that results will be accurate, complete or suitable for your situation, or that the Service will always be available or error-free.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Service, including:

• Being refused entry, fines, removal, entry bans or other immigration consequences.
• Travel costs, missed bookings or changes to plans.
• Incorrect results caused by wrong or missing dates, or by rules the Service doesn't cover.
• Bugs, interruptions or loss of data stored on your device.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.

9. Termination

We may suspend or end access to the Service if you break these terms. You can stop using the Service at any time by deleting the app.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For significant changes, we'll give at least 30 days' notice in the app. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India, except where your local consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.
