What the app does
Days left at a glance
The Overview shows the days you can still stay, days used and booked, your next day back and when your 180-day window starts.
All your trips in one place
Add each stay with its entry and exit dates and country. Trips are grouped into ongoing, upcoming and past, with a running total for the year.
Check a trip before you book
Pick dates in the Planner and see whether the trip fits within 90 days, or how many days it would go over and how much to shorten it.
Alerts before day 90
Choose your first warning at 30, 21, 15 or 10 days left. The app warns you again at 10, 5 and 1 day left.
Calendar of your Schengen days
See every day you've spent in the Schengen area, month by month.
PDF travel report
Create a PDF of your travel history to keep, or to share with an employer, an adviser or a visa application.
Home Screen widget
Your days left on the Home Screen, in a small or medium size. See the widgets.
Made for iPhone Duo
Unfolded, every main screen splits into two panes, one on each side of the hinge. How it works.
iPhone and iPad, in sync
Designed for both screens, and your trips sync between them through your own iCloud.
Offline, in 29 languages
Everything works without a connection, because your trips are saved on your device.
Home Screen widgets
Add Schengen Calculator to your Home Screen and see your days left without opening the app. There are two sizes: small shows the days you have left and a bar of the 90 used so far; medium adds your status, days used and free, and, when it applies, the date days start coming back to you. The widget changes colour as you go: blue while you're on track, orange from 61 days used ("Running low") and red from 81 ("Almost out"). It's free, like the rest of the app.

How it counts
The app uses the same rolling 90/180 rule as the border: on any day, it looks back 180 days and counts every day you were in any of the 29 Schengen countries, including the days you arrived and left. It's the same method as our web calculator, which gives the same answers as the EU's own calculator. New to the rule? Read the 90/180 rule, explained.
